Funeral, Family and Easter

We decided to go to Ohio for Easter since we weren't sure if we would be able to make during the summer.  Turns out we had to leave a few days earlier than expected because my grandmother passed away a few days before we were to leave.  We knew that she wasn't doing well but it was still a bit of a shock when I got the news.  At the funeral was the first time the Brian was able to meet my dad's step side of the family.  Not exactly how I pictured it.

My grandpa's sisters were able to come to the funeral and I was able to talk to them and ask them questions about the Robertson side of the family and to see if there was anybody else in the family that I could talk to to get more information.  They were able to give me some information and I was able to give them some.  Why is it weddings and funerals is when you get together and you able to talk to family members that you haven't seen in ages.  We should really do it more often.

While we were in Ohio we went to the Columbus Zoo and the Air Force Museum.    I'll post more about the museum for a later post.  There is just too much to talk about with the museum.  The trip to the zoo wasn't too bad.  It was sunny and wasn't to overly crowded.  Lukie got to ride a train for the first time and we were able to see the Polar Bear exhibit.

On Easter we had an Easter Egg hunt in my parents back yard.  Lukie seemed to like it.  But I think we was more interested in the candy than anything else.
