Wedding #1

This evening we went to our first of five weddings. It was for Brian's friends Alan & Ashley. It was a very fast wedding. The ceremony was quick and then it was like they were in a race to get everything done so they could party. It was first dance, cut the cake and then party. Afterwards we were able to go to a couple of bars to hang out with Brian's best friend from high school who was in town for the wedding.

Boxer Photo Contest

Maggie is on the home page of Carolina Boxer Rescue. I sent in her picture early last week for the Boxer of the Week contest and they said that she won. So for this week she will be on the home page. You should check it out. We are so proud!

Warm Weekend

The weather has been crazy this past week. Tuesday it snowed and now it is in the low 70's. We decided to take Maggie to the beach. She LOVED it. She kept trying to run into the water. I think we are going to try and get a summer pass to Fort Fisher Beach where we can drive Brian's jeep out there. This summer should be fun!

Surprise Visit!

I just got back from visiting my sister and nephew. Christie had no idea that I was coming to see her and Lucas. She was very surprised. Lucas has got to be the most laid back baby I've seen. The only time that I heard him fuss was when he was hungry or wet. Other than that he just slept. The next time I get to see him will be some time in June or July. I can't wait.
