NASCAR Hall of Fame

Since we were in Charlotte for the Bengals Panthers game we also made a trip to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.  It is conveniently located across the street from our hotel so we really didn't have an excuse not to go.

It was Awesome!!  They had a whole section where you can try out different jobs to see which one you would be good at.  You could try to be an official, a driver, a crew chief, an engineer or a pit crew member.  It said that I would be a good engineer and Brian would be a good official.  Next time we are in Charlotte we are definitely going back.

Panthers vs. Bengals

This has been that match up since Brian and I started dating.  Panthers and Bengals football.  We knew that they were playing this year, but always joked it would be during the wedding.  We were close.  The game was this past weekend.  One week before we get married.  Everyone joked about how they hoped this game wouldn't cause a fight between us to call off the wedding.  I had no concerns with that.  We had a great time.  On our way to the stadium, we say Terrell Owens walk across the street to the Bengals hotel.  We stopped hoping that we could see some players, instead we say an extreme Bengals fan.

For my wedding present I got a new digital camera that can take panoramic pictures.  This is one of my first ones.
When we decide to go to the game we bought tickets, and before we left, Brian was offered suite tickets.  So on game day we met his AT&T rep and we watched the game from the AT&T suite.  It was AWESOME!!  I was called a traitor but, it was worth it.  Before the start of the game it started to rain, then down-poured.  I was very thankful for the tickets.

Arts in the Alley

I scheduled my last dress fitting the same weekend as Arts In The Alley.  I haven't been to Arts In The Alley since I moved to Wilmington, so I was very excited to go and look at crafts, see the parade and see the band concert afterward the parade.  I do miss seeing the parade and looking at the booths that I think I may try to come home more during this time of year.

I did my final dress fitting and it is perfect.  I can't wait for Brian to see me.

I also got to baby sit my nephew, Lucas and I was able to take a couple of pictures of him while he was taking a nap in my arms.
