This year we wanted to get us a bigger pool. It started out we wanted just a 2' deep blow up pool and the more looked the bigger we wanted. This is what we ended up with. We now have a pool and Maggie has her own pool. I must admit, it is nice to lay on a float and just float around on a hot day.
Why get a pool you ask since we live so close to the beach. I do not like high tide. Bad things tend to happen when I go to the beach at high tide. And we like to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds and get a parking spot, but when we live it is still just as hot and we still want to cool off. So that is why we have a pool. We can avoid the crowds and have plenty of parking!
I went home this past weekend for my first dress fitting. I was able to do my dress fitting and I also got to spend some time with my family.
My dress is gorgeous, but I'm not sure how they are going to make it fit. It is too long. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope that it all works out. It has to work out because I do not have another dress that I can buy.
Since I was in town for Memorial Day we decided to have a cook out on Sunday. It was beautiful and Christie and Luke brought over Lucas' swim pool to have him play a bit. The well water at my parents is too cold so we ended up dumping hot water from the tap in the pool in order for Lucas to even play in the water. I miss them already and can't wait to go back for my second fitting and my bridal shower.
