Wedding Dress
While I was home for my nephew's 1st birthday, I also was there to pick out a wedding dress. I went to 3 different stores on 3 different days. I think I must have tried on at least 30-40 dresses before I found "the one". It was the last day I was there and my dad had decided to go with me, my mom and sister. It was a good thing that he went because he is the one who helped pick out the dress. My mom had found it first, but I said that I didn't want a lace dress. My dad realizing that I wasn't finding "the one", picked out a couple of dresses and "the one" happened to be the one my mom picked out earlier that I turned down. After I put it on, I had a smile on my face and was the first time that I actually felt like a bride. I would post a picture of it, but since Brian reads this as well I don't want him seeing the dress; superstition and all.

Happy Birthday Brian!
We celebrated Brian's birthday yesterday. We had dinner, his mom made the birthday cake and then we played Beatles Rock Band. For the next 7 months we are the same age and I'm not robbing the cradle. This is what he says anyway.

Wedding and Reception Location
I believe that we found where we want to get married. It is a beach house located in Kure Beach, NC. We've actually been here before for a wedding. We are thinking that my family will be table to stay there and we can use it for the wedding and the reception. The beach house is called "The Prescription Pad". As of right now, the beach house is available, I just have to talk to my parents.

I'm Getting Married!!
Over Christmas I got engaged! I was very surprised.
Brian and I decided to celebrate our Christmas the weekend before since we would be going to Ohio very early Christmas morning. We had my favorite pizza, Zamerelli's (it is from my hometown) and then we were to open presents. We each took turns opening gifts and then Brian handed me a present and said that I had to be careful with it. By the time that I opened the box, I found a much smaller box, the shape of a jewerly box. I was a bit confused and unsure of what could be in the box. My first thought was a pair of earrings. When I opened the box and saw the ring I started to cry. Thank God we were not in a public place because it was not pretty. I couldn't breathe and I had tears and snot running down my face. I actually said "Yes" before he asked, because he kept wanting to know what I thought.

Christmas, Bengals game and snow!
Christmas eve was spent with Brian's family here in Wilmington and Christmas morning we got up early to drive to Ohio to spend Christmas day and a weeks vacation with my family. Again this year we didn't take any pictures of Christmas and barely have video from the trip. During our vacation, part of my Christmas was to go to a Bengals game again. This year Brian was prepared for the cold. And it was a good thing too. The game started off pretty cool. I'm thinking it was in the mid 30's. By the time we left, the temperature had to of been in the 20's and snow was starting to fall. By the time we got back to Grove City, snow was everywhere. The snow stuck around and Maggie was able to play in the snow. She didn't seem to mind the snow, but she wasn't shy about letting us know she was ready to come in.
