Lucas David Caswell

Lucas David, my nephew was born Thursday January 22nd. He weighed 7 lbs 3 ozs and was 20 1/2 in long. My parents sent me some pictures and I think that he is just the cutest little thing. Both him and Christie are doing good. I hope to get home soon to see them.

SNOW!!

We had snow for the first time in six years, and as I sit here snow continues to fall. Brian's office closed early so he was able to take some pictures and a video of Maggie not enjoying the snow. As soon as she touched the snow she immediately turned around and ran inside. When I got home we went in played in the snow. I haven't done that in years.

Bengals Game

I know this is late, but while we were in Grove City for Christmas we went to a Bengals game. This marks my second NFL game. It was a little cold, but we were fortunate enough that we had seats in the sun. Ironically the Bengals played the Chiefs and the Bengals won. The final score was 16-6.

Happy Birthday Brian!

Today is Brian's 30th Birthday. We had a small celebration here at the house with just family. Brian wanted to do barbecue so we had that and for dessert we had key lime cupcakes. His nephew Aidan enjoyed them really well.

Happy New Year!

Aside from the usual resolutions people make, we have decided to make recycling our household resolution. So far it has gone okay. We have canvas bags to take with us to the grocery store, which we seem to forget half the time, and we've been good about putting aside anything that is glass, plastic and cardboard. Our next step is pick up bins that we can set up in the garage. Wish us luck!
